R.I.P.D. review

Posted : 11 years, 10 months ago on 19 August 2013 07:47 (A review of R.I.P.D.)

Very WELL DONE - Great entertainment; and looking forward to a sequel (or two). YES, it reminded me of MIB but, so what - I'd go see another 'sequel' of theirs too ! - jts

The Iceman review

Posted : 11 years, 10 months ago on 19 August 2013 07:38 (A review of The Iceman)

Intense. Real. = REAL INTENSE, dramatization of the 'fine line' traveled by those who must/may lead "separate lives"; and, the Improbability of the success at keeping them so.

Michael Shannon surely carries the role (and the film) with excellent "baddy" support from Ray Liotta & Robert Davi. Took me a while to recognize David Schwimmer - as there is not one ?hint? (in the character) from his days on "Friends" - Well played, David. - jts

WALL·E review

Posted : 11 years, 11 months ago on 28 July 2013 10:09 (A review of WALL·E)

For those who may not yet 'know' mu ?views? (especially about THIS film)- I consider it to be the MOST EXCEPTIONAL animated tale EVER told. A prophetic "Romeo & Juliet" meets [the world's] "Gone with the Wind" - presented by the inexplicably talented team at Pixar with ingenious imagination. It truly "HAS - something for everyONE" AND, a message we all need to heed. - jts

The Beautician and the Beast review

Posted : 11 years, 11 months ago on 28 July 2013 08:53 (A review of The Beautician and the Beast)

Cute movie. More ?to date? story line of "Sounds of Music" w/o the Music. Shows off 'all the best' of Fran Drescher, and her talent (as a comedic actress) which reminded me of just 'why' I've liked her for so many years. - jts [Just watched this, in its entirety, on TV]
